Ms Joann Ting Pek Eng was called to the Singapore Bar in 1994.  She obtained her law degree from the University of London in 1990 and was called as Barrister in Lincoln’s Inn in 1992.  She started her own legal practice in 1997.  She specialises in conveyancing work, and her experience includes doing mortgage loans in respect to private properties for a number of banks in Singapore (including DBS Bank, DBS Finance Ltd, Citibank N.A., Standard Chartered Bank, United Overseas Bank Ltd, OCBC Bank, Sing Investments & Finance Ltd, Hong Leong Singapore Finance Limited and Keppel TatLee Finance Ltd, ABN-AMRO and Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited).  Joann also holds a Bachelor of Science degree (1982) and a Diploma in Education (1983) from the National University of Singapore
